Who can participate?

Any individual (sole trader), business or other organisation operating within Australia is invited to submit a Reward entry.

How does my organisation participate?

To enter, run a safety initiative in your workplace during October and tell us all about it.

Complete the online entry form below by 23:00 AEST on Monday 6 November 2017, making sure to include all relevant supporting files with your entry. Please note - late entries will not be accepted.

What are the criteria?

Entries will be judged on how well your initiative:

1. Shares safety knowledge throughout your workplace,

2. empowers staff at all levels to make good safety choices, and

3. demonstrates an enduring approach to good work health and safety.

The organisation that demonstrates the most outstanding safety month initiative will win up to $5000 and the opportunity to share their story nationally.

A panel of three judges convened by Safe Work Australia's Chief Executive Officer will determine the winner, announced in December.

What is the winner required to do?

We will be in contact with the winning organisation to organise arrangements for the prize, as well as obtain more information for promotional purposes. The winner may organise additional media or publicity in their own time and at their own expense.
